Synopsis: A young boy receives a mysterious package. Upon opening it, he innocently plays with it’s toy monster contents. Simultaneously a gigantic beast appears, bent on the destruction of his own small town. The boy’s older brother discovers the connection between the two and realizes only he can stop it.

Hitchcock’s Vertigo in San Francisco

I recently had to go to San Francisco for a film project and decided to build in an extra day for some sight seeing (turns out you need more than a day to do San Francisco properly). While driving through Golden Gate Park we happened to come upon the Legion of Honor, a location featured prominently in one of my favorite Hitchcock films, Vertigo.

Left is a still from the film of Jimmy Stewart following Kim Novak into the museum.

This is how the Legion appears today. More stills and a downloadable brochure on the filming of Vertigo are available on the Fine Art Museums of San Francisco Blog.

This is an animated short that introduces elementary students to a breathing exercise designed to reduce anxiety, stress, etc. I did the character concepts, illustration, animation and edits. My kids helped with the voice overs and my good friend David Woodard wrote the script.
